Account & Data Deletion

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This page explains how to request the deletion of your KuwaLog account and the personal data associated with it, what we delete, and what we may need to keep. It applies to both the KuwaLog web app and the KuwaLog mobile app (together, the Service).

If your account belongs to an organization workspace, some of your data is controlled by that organization. Where that is the case, we will act on your request together with your workspace administrator as described below.

1. How to request deletion

From inside the app (workspace administrators). If you administer a KuwaLog workspace, the quickest way is to sign in to the KuwaLog web app, open Settings → Account, and choose Request account deletion. Your request is sent to the KuwaLog team, who review it and either approve or decline it. You can track its status, and withdraw it while it is still pending, from that same screen.

By email. If you can't sign in, or you are not a workspace administrator, email us at support@kuwalog.com from the email address registered to your account, using the subject line Account deletion request. To help us locate your account, please include your name and your workspace or company name.

However you reach us, we verify that the request comes from the account owner before we act on it. If we cannot confirm ownership, we may ask for additional information to protect against unauthorized deletion.

2. What we delete

When you ask us to delete your account, we remove:

  • your account profile, including your name, email address, and login credentials;
  • your role and access assignments within your workspace;
  • attendance photos captured for your own records; and
  • personal data stored on our servers that identifies you and is not subject to the exceptions below.

Data cached locally on your mobile device is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app.

3. What we may retain

We may retain limited information where the law allows or requires it, for example to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations; to resolve disputes; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to enforce our agreements. We keep this information only for as long as necessary for those purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Operational records that your organization is legally required to keep (for example, inventory movements, asset check-in and check-out logs, and orders) belong to the workspace rather than to you personally. These are retained by your organization even after your personal account is deleted, but references to you may be anonymized.

4. Workspace-controlled data

KuwaLog is provided to organizations and their authorized users. If your personal data is controlled by your organization workspace, we will coordinate your request with your workspace administrator, who may need to reassign or remove workspace records before the account can be fully deleted. Where we act only as a processor for your organization, we may direct your request to that organization.

5. How long it takes

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Complex requests, or requests that require coordination with your workspace administrator, may take longer, and we will keep you informed of the status.

6. Your rights

Deletion is one of the rights available to you under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). You may also request access to, correction of, or a copy of your personal data. For more detail on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
